Longlevens Rugby Club is a grassroots rugby club based in Gloucester and runs 3 senior sides, a mixed ability side, a couple of girls sides and runs junior rugby at every age from 6-17. It has provided many players for Gloucester over the years as well as many who have gone onto international honours such as Mike Burton, Ian Smith, Pete Jones, Malcolm Preedy and most recently Sam Underhill.
Like all grassroots clubs, the last 18 months has been difficult and as rugby starts to get back to “normal” they are trying to raise much needed income to be able to continue to provide all of the members with everything they need to enjoy their rugby.
As mentioned above, one of the club’s former players, Sam Underhill kindly donated a bag of his England kit as well as a few other items from other members of the England squad to help raise some money for his boyhood club.
Longlevens RFC will also donate some of the proceeds to the fundraising for the late Jack Adams family.
Please check out all the amazing lots on offer, make your bids and support a local rugby club in the process.
